Privacy Policy

Effective August 6, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how SuperTradies Technologies Inc. ("SuperTradies", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, web application, and mobile apps (together, the "Service"), whether you are a trade business ("Pro") or one of their customers ("Client").

By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, business name, and role, collected when you sign up or are invited to a workspace.

Job and business data: jobs, quotes, invoices, schedules, client records, photos, and notes that Pros enter or that Clients submit through a booking or quote request.

Payment information: when you pay for a subscription or a job, payment is handled by our payment processors — Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") for web purchases, and Apple or Google for purchases made inside our iOS or Android apps. We do not receive or store full card numbers.

Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, app version, and interaction data, collected automatically via cookies, SDKs, and server logs.

Location data: with permission, approximate or precise location from field staff devices, used for dispatch, routing, and job-site check-in.

3. How we use information

To provide the Service — creating accounts, scheduling jobs, generating invoices, processing payments, and enabling communication between Pros and Clients.

To secure the Service — fraud prevention, abuse detection, and enforcing our Terms of Service.

To communicate — service notifications, appointment reminders, receipts, and, where you've opted in, product updates or marketing.

To improve the Service — aggregated, de-identified analytics on how features are used.

4. Paddle, Apple, and Google as payment processors

Web subscriptions: purchases made through our website or web app are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes the personal and payment data needed to complete your purchase, handle billing, taxes, and refunds, and is bound by its own Buyer Terms and Privacy Notice, available at paddle.com/legal.

iOS purchases: subscriptions and in-app purchases made through our iOS app are billed by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Android purchases: subscriptions and in-app purchases made through our Android app are billed by Google Play and governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

We receive only limited data back from these processors — such as subscription status, plan, and renewal date — needed to activate and manage your account. We never see or store your full card number.

5. How we share information

With your business's other users, according to the roles and permissions your admin configures.

With subprocessors who help us run the Service: payment processing (Paddle, Apple, Google), cloud hosting, email and SMS delivery, and error monitoring. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

When required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SuperTradies, our users, or the public.

We do not sell, rent, or license your personal data to third parties for advertising.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain account and job data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we remove your data from production systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 60 days, except where we are required to retain records for tax, accounting, or legal purposes.

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it at any time by contacting privacy@supertradies.com.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@supertradies.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International data transfers

We and our subprocessors may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for cross-border transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
