Our founder spent years working around plumbing, electrical, and HVAC crews before starting SuperTradies, and every piece of software they touched treated a job site the same way it treated a sales pipeline. Fields renamed, workflows bent sideways, nothing built for a person standing in a crawlspace with a phone in one hand and a wrench in the other. SuperTradies started as an attempt to fix that for one crew. It didn't stay that way for long.
Four years, twelve trades, and a lot of time spent in trucks and job sites.
Our founder spent a summer shadowing 20 plumbing and electrical crews and watched every one of them fight generic software that was never built for a truck, a ladder, or a job that changes by the hour.
Plumbing and electrical crews got the first workflows built around how they actually price, schedule, and close out work — not a relabeled generic CRM.
Word spread from crew to crew faster than any ad campaign could. Referrals became our biggest growth channel, and still are.
Field techs could finally close a job and get paid before they left the driveway, with routing that accounted for real drive times, not straight lines on a map.
HVAC, landscaping, roofing, and more joined plumbing and electrical, each with workflows built alongside the crews who'd actually use them.
Still building with crews in the room, not just customers on a call. The rating hasn't moved much — we'd rather keep it that way than chase a bigger number.
A small team that still talks to crews every week.
